Malaysia gained independence since 1957. Despite her formation more than half centuries ago, its population remains widely divided.

Largely it was the Malay state until the Chinese and Tamil was brought into this country by colonial masters the British which were famous for their divide and rule.

Until now, British influences were deeply rooted amongst Malaysian. The influxes of Chinese were large until they became the 2nd largest group after the Malay. Indian play less significant role then.

Economies were controlled by the Chinese else the state administrations were largely Malay. The economic pie of this country was not equally distributed. Malays remain poor and less educated whilst the Chinese get better education.

Not only large businesses were controlled by Chinese, private organizations clearly show large disparity between races. Chinese holds important position whilst Malays were there just to make up the numbers.

Banking industries were also not spared. Apart from Chinese controlled bank such as Public Bank and Hong Leong Bank. Their penetration also covers Government Link Companies (GLC) as well. We now see that Maybank, and CIMB where majority of the key holders in that companies comprises of Chinese with a very few Malays holding such position. The Malays make the most numbers in non-executives position such as Clerk / Non Clerical.

Simple check is to go to any CIMB branches or Maybank branches, where racial compositions were mostly Malays. Where the Chinese gone? You can find them in Head Office. In Head Office, there are many senior positions and these were filled by Chinese and Malays were the minority.

Ethnic cleansing

How these happened? The Malays were removed and replace by Chinese. These were done over the years. First rate the Malays lower than the Chinese. Then blame the Malays for non-performing and use this reason to replace the Malays with the Chinese.

The above happened widely in Chinese controlled bank such as Public Bank / Hong Leong Bank and HSBC years ago.

Now the bank under the GLC were also being threaten by this Chinese evolution / uprising. CIMB also headed by Malay. The other senior positions and middle management positions comprises by Chinese.

Modus operandi
CIMB recruited non-Malay EVP with working experiences from other banks such as RHB and Heong Bank. This EVP then systematically recruited his Chinese support staff (SVP / VP etc) to work for him. The SVP / VP too start taking their people. The snow-ball effect takes place. The existing position that was filled by Malay was being replaced by Chinese. At times, they will create new position to accommodate these movements.

This does not stop up to here. Performance Management System was being abused. Each year the Chinese were well rewarded by getting large bonuses and pay increments whilst the Malays just meet the expectation. So when the Malays got fed-up they asked for transfer or leave the job. These vacancies were immediately taken up by the Chinese.

Politics

To gain popularity everyone started to shout about togetherness and unity amongst all races. The Malays as usual like to out-do others so they started their war cry “1 Malaysia”

Is 1 Malaysia really will works? It has taken us more than half centuries; this country is still divided as ever. The Chinese still press for Chinese education. Why? Why can Chinese press for Malaysia education a better education for everyone?

If we ever want to call ourselves 1 Malaysia, we should have one type of school to cater all Malaysian.

The Chinese will not support this. They are not true Malaysian.

They want to be left alone and work their way up to take over this country if they can. But they cannot. So they work their way up to filled up every employments holding better positions than Malays or Indians. So technically they actually rule this country.

KTM mempunyai prasarana berjuta juta ringgit tetapi sayang sekali bila kita melihat pihak pengurusannya tidak dapat mentadbir dengan efisen.

Setiap hari kita melihat ketibaan tren yang tidak mengikut jadual. Ini membuat kan lagi tren ni menjadi lebih sesak dan kurang selesa.

KTM perlu memperbetulkan kekurangan yang sangat ketara ini.

Well we have heard so much of Pak Lah and his KJ son in law.

Where are they now? Well seems to be out of public radar. Melayu mudah lupa... as the saying goes.

Although being in the PM office for brief period of time, they have become very rich now ... well the acting of being stupid and sleepy head may be was deliberately done. Acting stupid was okay because what matter most was they have managed to quitely amassed millions of ringgit.

Performance Management System (PMS) where your rating on your KPI was recorded

The system if closely followed and done in good faith is good and well. But most often it is open to abuse and a form of punishing those who you don't like.

Firstly, PMS is not done in good spirit that is supposed to be. There is no target set up front in early of the year.

There was no discussion made throughout the year (mid year include). PMS were taken lightly by your boss or bosses.

Worst thing of all, you are being appraised not fairly. It was conducted last minute by rushing to complete the PMS to meet the dateline.

More often than not the PMS is a tool to punish those who the boss don't like. It is totally not done in the spirit it was design to be.

Poor Pak Lah and Rich Pak Lah

TV 3 morning news today (29.9.08) – broadcast a story of poor Pak Lah who has left home years ago and is now alone. No family members visit him. He is very thin and undernourished. Poor guy.

We also have Pak Lah who is currently “rules” this country is in someway having similar fate – he still have his family but many friends now deserted him as they do not support his idea of extending his staying in power. Anyway, this Pak Lah is very rich when compared to the very poor Pak lah who appeared in TV3 morning news today (Full name: Abdullah Mohd Noor – works as security guard and have no home to stay)

Probably the poor Pak Lah is counting his days to meet his maker (may god bless him), while the rich Pak Lah probably is busy thinking how could he extend his stay in power further although his rein is coming to an end in sooner or later.

I guess not many will shed their tears. Many were happy to see him go. I wish him a long life so that he can enjoy his accumulated wealth with his new wife, Jean Danker Abdullah and family members.

Please think, if Raja Petra was wrong by Syed Hamid with reason that he is a threat to the nation thru his mere truthful writings, and RPK was not involved in any demolition of any worship place.

This MPAJ has committed worst crime by demolished Hindu temple, which can cause racial riot which is detrimental to the country. Syed Hamid, why not use ISA on these people? Very clearly by the above actions, we see that law is being carried out selectively by UMNO minister.

Well forks, any demolition of surau, tokong cina or tokong india, it is a very sensitive issue with should be handled with care and not by extreme force. Selangor PKR government has its own procedure which MPAJ did not bother to abide. To reflect its seriousness, I think the MPAJ president should tender his resignation and take the blame for not adhering to the standing orders, rules and regulations.

We are reasonable people, we know that there is a need to govern and have some rules and procedures. I also would like to think that to construct any worship place on a land that does not belong to them is illegal and appropriate action to be addressed tactfully.

Just imagine, illegally, a band of muslim build a small surau, years later it grew bigger became Masjid, which was constructed on a land belong to a perrson, say this person is filthy rich by the name of Samy Vellu. What would you think Samy Vellu will react??? Would he commence legal proceeding to evict this illegal construction on his prime land? Just think!!! So to preserve harmony amongst all Malaysian, be it Cina, India, Melayu or Bengali..etc etc, there must be law and order. But to carry out this law and order, the authority which in this case (local municipality) must discharge their duty with care taking into account of people sensitivities and in the spirit of muhibah!!! Comprande.

I further think that Selangor PKR government is more sensitive to Selangor rakyat. The actions by MPAJ were probably committed by those staunch supporters for MB Khir Toya. That is why I said earlier, the MPAJ president should tender his resignation or be sack, and this will be an example and a stern warning to all agencies under the present Selangor government.

A shocking news today that the insensitive Home Minister has signed the detention order under Section 8 of ISA, which grants the minister detention power for up to two years, but does NOT allow judicial review. It means there is no longer ground to review in court if the detention of RPK is lawful or not. All of us know that the detention is baseless and totally unacceptable.

Please continue to fight for justice and set RPK free. I just cannot accept the fact the way RPK was detained. I can’t help to think that BN did it for the purpose to incite hatred and people uprising!!! So they can use this to squash all their adversaries, is a very dirty tactics.

BN government hopes that people take the street like Thailand, Burma, and Korea etc.

Now this has faded away because the party was too long in the government and we have seen too many wrongdoings by the minister. These ministers think that they are above the law. For your information for first time I voted for an opposition party (DAP) and not BN. The current government is in the state of disarray?

This sort of mumbo jumbo will never happen during Tun Mahathir's era, the country was blessed with real development and of course the petrol increase was very nominal back then.

Now, we have a dump PM who cannot lead and cannot make proper decision but refuse to step down. This incompetent PM has angered the majority of the rakyat which was why BN fails miserably during the recent election. In Japan, the minister will quickly admit their mistake and seek apologies and quickly step down.

But in Malaysia, just was the opposite. “I still got work to do to develop for the rakyat”. This bullshit talk only comes from one person who no dignity and in the state of denial. Badawi is the person who will see the destruction of UMNO and the best joke of all, all other party members do not have ball to sack their party president themselves. I now begin to think this sort of leaders the rakyat do not want because they cannot make their decision as though they are only slave to the party and only obey its president no matter how silly it is. I think present UMNO leaders were in comfortable zone. This will quickly slip away fast because they have proven that they have become a liability to the rakyat.

I have high very high regard to Tun, my eldest son were named after him. I am sad to see that what use to be great party is now in the state of mumbo jumbo. I think the UMNO is suffering from cancerous illnesses and need to be revamped for her to be relevant again.

I support a change in government, why?
As for me, I have shifted my support for Barisan Rakyat. I hope to see real development and not just politicking and enriching themselves (done by BN ministers). Enough is enough, we have seen

12. Unthinkable increase in petrol –the highest jump in this century (Malaysia boleh?)

There are too many … so these were too glaring to ignore and it has becoming “meluat” and disgrace to all the Malays. It has brought real embracement to all the Malays by these small groups of people in power.

That is why I will support PKR and whole heartedly support YM RPK who is not afraid to tell-all to us Malaysian. We love our country and we hope true justice will prevail and those who are trying to stop or prevent it from happening will be brought to justice!!!

First action is to call for an immediate release of RPK and Teresa Kok. These 2 humble persons are not armed terrorist, why detained them under ISA? Their detention is a heinous crime committed by BN politician. Syed Hamid has stated clearly that he is politician; in this case I think he is not fit to hold a position of Home Minister if he cannot see the differences between armed terrorist and harmless RPK a writer and Teresa Kok, parliamentary member. The Malays took the money but did not vote Umno. And they also bisek-bisek to their parents and folks back in the kampong to also vote opposition. BN led government being unfair - start with Sport Ministry?

The BN controlled federal government is not fair to all Malaysian. If they claim that they are fair than the government should not discriminate those states controlled by the Opposition – Pakatan Rakyat.

The Sport Minister Datuk Seri Azalina Othman made a press statement that Guan Eng and Khalid Ibrahim did not seem to understand the procedure? There is a special requirement by BN federal government to Pakatan Rakyat state government.

What is so special that there is different treatment by the federal government? This is a clear double standard practice by BN led federal government. There is no fairness if when you starting to introduces such procedures.

Ironically PM Ahmad Badawi assurance that all federal programmes (committed by government) would continue as planned in all States. Now, his cabinet minister says otherwise. No wonder there was a word “flip flop”. AAB has made a wrong choice again on electing sport minister; he should elect someone who has rakyat interest close to their heart not matter what political ideology ones hold.

By taking such measures and actions, the rakyat will further hate BN controlled federal government.

Due to the above, I as a rakyat, I am more determine now to support the Pakatan Rakyat and hope the federal government will fall under the hands of the Pakatan Rakyat and, we hope this will happens soonest. BN government, as I see it, is very arrogant and unfair to all states. They behave like sour grapes. That is why we need a change in government. We want prosperity and pro-active government leaders, not anyone harping on matters that will causes further problems and damages to the rakyat.

By such reactions, the BN government are more concerned about their positions (pocket), they do not care whether the rakyat suffers or not, a very good example, look at Kelantan state, they were deprived of developments for the past 18 years. Now, that kind of actions cannot be applied anymore as now the opposition controlled 5 states! It would be disastrous and kamikaze to adopt the “special treatment” by BN led federal government to all these 5 states. Now we actually see the real BN government!!!! Do you still want to vote for them?

UMNO party election system made it very difficult to challange the presidency

UMNO party system was created to make it almost impossible to challenge the party presidency.

KU LI faces daunting task to call for UMNO EGM meeting. It is very brave for KU LI to offer himself...to be slaughtered by Pak Lah UMNO "dogs". This is very noble for a Kelantan prince to offer his service as UMNO is very close to his heart, but unfortunately.... as what we now see is that all UMNO members have no backbone to stand straight and very afraid to put things right.

This is the current UMNO state of affairs! All UMNO leaders live in a climate of fear. They fear to voice of their displeasure.

Ironically, Pak Lah call it a democratic party where he will listen to the voices of UMNO members. But is won't be easy, he his protected by boneless UMNO supreme council members. This circle will ensure that there will be no objection to the party presidency....anyway they also have their "special squad" PAKIDA the famous fearsome authorized gangster approved by PDRM???

Once iron lady Rafidah and her group had wanted to voice their displeasure earlier, but half way stop short to support the party president. Again this show that the party president is very powerful, just like Mau Tze Tung in China. Rafidah actually do not want to lose her wealth...may be under duress she have to toe the line?

The system created in UMNO make it almost impossible to put a challenge to the party president such as:-

a) would not t be easy to meet the requirement because a challenger must get nominations from at least 30 per cent of the Umno divisions.
b) To qualify as a candidate for the post of a party president, the challenger needs about 60 nominations.

By tradition UMNO BN use to get the Malay support. Now the Melayu has already 'CELEK MATA' (pls exclude the current UMNO leaders and members "BUTA HATI")voice their displeasure by voting 5 states to opposition...and in future the hope to wrest the majority at federal level.

Wait and see.. now BN is now enjoying support from indigenious people in hinterlands in Sarawak and Sabah plus Philipines immigrant with NRIC. And West Malaysia kampung folks that mostly access to mainstream newspaper and watch RTM. This kampung folks get their road patched up at an interval 5 years when there is an election "PANCING UNDI". ALL these will change soon once there is fairness in newspaper reporting and not lopsided news that only carry BN stories. There should be transparencies.

UMNO can continue to keep their president and follow him to sleep forever. Rakyat will elect those only who can work for the rakyat.

We have now seen that Zakaria Mat Deros of Klang has passed away. He did not lived long enough to enjoy his ill gotten wealth. He built his castle just in time for his funeral.

General Election 2008 Opposition done a great job

This is a new begining. Many rakyat harbours some form of reform in the government and they have put their hope in the hands of Barisan Rakyat (PKR DAP and PAS). The old guard now has lost its relevency, they can't put things right as many were more interest in accumulating wealth for personal gained at the expense of the rakyat.

Time to call for changes and time to "bersih" the corrupted Badawi's and all his followers. Majority of them cannot understand the simple electorate message to them. Are they blind? I think certainly not, they are just fighting for survival as they are afraid that their downfall means there may be an investigations on the misgovernance when they were in public office then.

Who is this KJ? Some told me that KJ means Kera Jantan. How come kera can that very powerful? Who "bela" that kera must be brought to justice for not taking care of rakyat but instead an animal. This clearly shows to us all, that the current No 1 still think that the RAKYAT are still blind and stupid, but in reality, rakyat are NOT stupid or blind but he is as he at most of the time he sleep in his duty.

"I work very hard" says someone. Clearly missing the point here is that people do not care how much hard work you put in but people want is the result. Certainly, the results are NOT forthcoming, in fact it is getting worst!!

Is there a Malay name TOYO or TOYOL ? sound like Japanese to me if not Javanese, certainly not a Malay name. This remind me of my first Toyota many years ago, my 5 years old son was very excited then, shouting that his father bought a TOYOYO instead of TOYOTA he he ..... This sort of things happend in the state of Selangor. Khir Toyol (I hope got his name right?) Dentist as a profession, do not understand the important of working for Rakyat - managing and the governance of the state. He himself shot ino the news of his involvments in the rape of the Bukit Cherakah (That name sound like celaka, its name was changed to Bukit Cahaya). Since the name is Bkt Cahaya, litterally means lights - this lights shine on the misdeed of Mr Toyo and all other state exco.

This breaking news in Klang about Mat Deros kingdom palace indeed clearly shows that Mr Toyo cannot even managed his subbordinates as well as his team. How could he run the state???? This sort of half past six people in state level and many others in federal level are a disgrace to all. Put shame on the country.

WE WANT A CHANGE. People elect people to work for people. This time around, there must be a total change of corrupted people with those who are capable hands.

Wake up fella... what is happening to our country.

We have 27million cop etc creating more bad news for this country. It is very disturbing news.

More disturbing news was when we heard 2nd man in Umno Youth Wing - KJ was saying that we should scrub the fuel subsidy and unsensiblily echoed by his father in law Pak Lah and all others Pak Turut in UMNO.

The petrol subsidy is more towards helping the poor. The poor are largely the malays themselves being the largest group amongst the other races. No matter how high the prices of the fuel the riches can afford it especially to a small group of filthy rich connected group... just make a guess (no point of saying it here)

So now, government servant pay hike by 30% - we call it in the fashion of "Pancing Undi" and most likely our fuel petrol and diesel will also increase RM2.50 per litre (about 30% hike).

Then we will see all the taxi bus and all other transportation increase their fare. Then we see all the mamak stall also increase their prices etc....

Does this spiral effects will help the POOR?????? certainly NOT HELPING THE POOR BUT MAKING THE RICH RICHER

The current people in power is trying to widen the gap more and more. They can afford to sent their childrens to better school and most likely to all english medium school in not here it will be in overseas. The rakyat will become more and more likely to get poor education as we are turning our country into full Malay speaking people. Malay says Katak dalam tempurung. We get Malay graduate from local universiti cannot speak good english.

We cannot survive alone, we need other countries to do trading and the widely spoken languages is English (that it - ENGLISH)

I always support Barisan National and never the oppsition. I also felt very proud during Tun Mahathir's era. Well what to do, people says that every cycle of going up would surely go downhill. We have seen the rapid development during Tun's time...now we will see the downside.

NOW time to change ... I too will have to shift my support. Very frustrated with the current UMNO team. I will vote for the OPPOSITION (who ever lah as long as they present the opposition) so that we will have more check and balance in the government.

I think the world is watching how Malaysian court is handling this case. Personally I hope this case would resolve without further distressed to her / public and further waste of public fund. The longer it takes - the bigger attraction the case gets.

Nine (9) years is a long period of waiting and yet it is still unresolved.

Lina Joy actions and intentions were very clear that she has decided to embrace Christianity a long time ago.

Federal court mentioned that the syariah court is only required to determine whether the appellant was still a Muslim based on Islamic law." So be it, From Federal Court decision - Lina Joy has got to submit her application to Syariah court for their judgement on her renouncing her religion.

Just wonder when your local politician representative in your area died, it is a blessing in disguise and good thing to happended following by-election. The many potholes at your area will be patched up and some area are getting spruce up.

What happend to Ijok is very great to its residence because of many promises poured out by politician which now need to be followed up. I feel it is a good thing to happend, so pray for that someone to kick his bucket...eh!! (Sorry I don't really meant it but it is quite hard to ignore).

From someone living there:
Not far from Ijok (but outside Ijok contituencies)......just drive your car to Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Bukit Rahman Putra which is also assessible through Kuang (ex DPM Tun Ghafar's wife bungalow), you may not believe your eyes of the deplorable state of the road is and that we now lived in 21st century.

Further inlet, in Kuang, I heard that Lrg Orkid has a small stretch of drainage built alongside to the road was cost over RM40,000. A shordy workmanship by 2 indons and that was all done half way.....why? I think it is not even worth RM10,000 but was paid 400%.

There are many things happening somewhere, everywhere and everyday....... !

Good News for government servant:
I am very happy when our honorable PM Pak Lah announcement for the pay raise. It is very good thing, I hope this is true.... enjoy lah kita semua, syoknya.

I am sure good support to BN government in the very near future general election from happy "rakyat" like me. I also hope government can control inflation at the same time.

I would like to see more people write their mind off - nothing going to stop them from thinking and acting as it is their mind that they speak off .

Authority should allow this to happen as it is a freedom of speech and it is also the freedom of rakyat to speak what they have in mind.

Try to stop from one's have to say is like we are going backwards to communism or something.

I read with high interest from those who have been NSTP writer / editor etc. Unfortunately, all this great writers have been systematicall y sideline and remove from their normal place of work.

To me, it is "gila" power. Kemaruk kuasa - what malay like to say when people who in power does this.

We should not allow this to happen but those with the power will use every ounce of their wits to "defeat" all their foe. This was what happen to dear blogger like ROckyBru and those alike him.
