Under human capital our Malaysian are getting more and more educated / sophisticated and have their own kind of thinking. Those early days we used to listen to our father or grandfather and blah blah, but now the young ones grows to make their own decision.
It is inevitable as human evolves the religion may somewhat faces that challenge.
Lina Joy's case was made to be very complicated case - my opinion it should have been made simpler without further anxieties to anyone.

Lina Joy case
Lina ‘must go to syariah court’
I think the world is watching how Malaysian court is handling this case. Personally I hope this case would resolve without further distressed to her / public and further waste of public fund. The longer it takes - the bigger attraction the case gets.
Nine (9) years is a long period of waiting and yet it is still unresolved.
Lina Joy actions and intentions were very clear that she has decided to embrace Christianity a long time ago.
Federal court mentioned that the syariah court is only required to determine whether the appellant was still a Muslim based on Islamic law." So be it, From Federal Court decision - Lina Joy has got to submit her application to Syariah court for their judgement on her renouncing her religion.
The ball is now throw back to Lina Joy!
